Dancing together

Last week I organized my first Meet Up for hosts in London (http://www.meetup.com/Hosts-in-London/events/184977702/. We can learn a lot from each other so I wanted to organize something where we can meet regularly and discuss various issues. It was great talking to other people who are hosting or thinking of starting it. Quite a few people were new or haven’t started hosting yet but are seriously thinking about it. There were a lot of questions regarding various platforms for home sharing and rentals so I’ve decided to put them all together her in one place so people can refer to them. These are the main ones I can think of but of course there are more and I might add some later. Can you think of one I might have forgotten?

 www.housetrip.com

 www.9flats.com

I use the above four websites. Mainly the first two. Airbnb is my favourite at the moment. It has its faults, they all do, so it’s just best to find one that best meets your needs. And it might be a good idea to sign up with at least two websites, just so you have a back up.

And there are more …

 www.roomorama.com

More upmarket

 www.onefinestay.com

More family oriented

 www.kidandcoe.com

I just wanted to put up a list for the time being but I will eventually add a description of each one. I believe they are all free at the moment (the first four definitely are). The website then takes a percentage of every booking from you and from the guest.
